Oahu-Gold Coast @ Dawn- Personal Work

I was in Hawaii to shoot the final images of a five ad campaign for the U.S. Navy. We were staying in a great hotel (now the 'W') on the Gold Coast right below Diamond Head. I'd seen this shot in my mind's eye when we were walking back to the hotel from the beach the day before so I got up before dawn, grabbed a cup of coffee and walked 100 yards from the Hotel to this p.o.v., set up the camera and just waited. The light was magical for about 24 frames and then it was gone. This is how it looked.
